YAY for HOCKEY

it's finally back!!

TSN is really liking Philly and the Pens in the East, but I've seen a lot of the Caps already and they are an offensive powerhouse. Their powerplay is frightening.

Goaltending is their weakness - Gaborik just fired a wrist shot past Theodore from well out - but man are they something to watch.

In the West, St.Louis really put the boots to Detroit in Sweden. They could be the Blackhawks of 09/10.

The Oilers have promise, but I think they need a penalty kill/faceoff guy. Their powerplay has looked good, but the PK is still a major weakness. Hopefully the Bonehead Wall with tighten up a bit too...

One last thing - i LOVE the Canucks going 0-3 to start the year! Too bad the Habs couldn't have pushed them a bit more the other night.
